Procurement and Installation of motorized vaves
As part of a modernization effort, SEPLAT intends to motorize Qty 11nos gate valves located upstream and downstream the PD meter skids in Sapele West flowstation, Qty7nos gate valves located upstream and downstream the PD meter skids in Amukpe flowstation and Qty7nos of gate valves located upstream and downstream the PD meter skids in OBEN flowstation all of which are currently operated manually
Replacement of these valves with new motorized valves will ensure increased valve control efficiency, safety/productivity across the PD meters during normal operations and routine maintenance efforts.
Delta Technologies and Oilfield Services Ltd won the contract to Procure, install and commission all Qty25 Motorized Gate valves for the three flow stations. DTOSL collaborated with the Valve OEM (Comeval) and the Actuator OEM(AUMA) to ensure seamless manufacturing process of the Valves and Actuators and final assembly to specifications.
FAT was conducted at OEM site and testing’s conducted successfully prior to shipment of the Motorized valves to Nigeria.
Cables were procured locally from Nigerchin as requested.
Proper engagement of host communities of all three locations ensured seamless pre installation activities including cable trench and trays were completed prior to arrival of the Motorized valves per project schedule to avoid installation delays.
Installation and Commissioning were successfully conducted by DTOSL Technical team at all three flowstations with adherence to all HSE, Safety and Community requirements. Efficient management of entire project resulted to successful implementation of the project with all installed Motorized valves operating efficiently.
